Hey! So Glad You're Here.

I am Paul Ferrarone and I have been a Pastor all of my life.  For nearly 40 years.   God has led me all over the world to do this work of The Lord in Maine, Massachusetts, New York, Hong Kong, China, Tanzania, East Africa, Pennsylvania, Georgia, and Nebraska.   And now I am retired and living in Atlanta, Georgia.   This Blog is about growing together in our relationship with God.   Each day I will write something based on what God is speaking to my heart and soul.   I hope it will inspire you to go deeper in your life-journey with The Lord.

If you want me to pray for you, or if you have questions, you can contact me through this blog.   Everything between us remains strictly confidential.  I will never share your information.  Period!  I will respond to you as soon as I can.   I promise.   So let's see where this takes us.

I also want to tell you why it is called haveyouanyfish.   In John's Gospel, chapter 21, Simon Peter, Thomas, Nathanael, the sons of Zebedee, and two other disciples were totally confused by Jesus' death and resurrection, so they decided to return to the life they knew without Jesus -- to fishing.   So one day shortly after Jesus rose from the dead He appeared on the shore of the Sea of Galilee early in the morning and the disciples did not recognize Jesus.   He asked them: "Have you any fish?"   They answered: "No!"   So Jesus instructed them to throw their nets on the other side of the boat -- and they caught a ton of fish.   Peter then recognized Jesus.

This story has always been a reminder to me that I need to do what The Lord wants me to do in my life.   The disciples quit on the Lord when the going got tough.   Sounds familiar, doesn't it?   "Have You Any Fish" is Jesus' way of asking us all, "Are you having any success in your life doing your own thing?"   It was Jesus' way of calling the disciples back to following Him and living out the plan of life HE chose for them.   The same is true for you and me, and so haveyouanyfish is my humble and modest effort to remind myself and you to follow Christ.   My hope is that this blog will help us all Follow Christ -- together!
