...A Life of Worship...

The spiritual life is the way we worship God, and so the goal of our spiritual life must be to be perfect and complete worshipers of God. When we consider the fact that we are so unworthy of calling ourselves Christians that Jesus suffered unimaginably to the point of death for our benefit and salvation, we should never step away from God as worshipers of Him just because we struggle through many days and hours of our life. Our totally living of our life as worshipers of Jesus Christ is dependent on the grace of God, then, for when left alone we are easily and quickly overwhelmed by any and all troubles and temptations. So we must strive in our hearts to bring our broken selves to Christ as worshipers with the goal and desire to be totally “in” with our worship of Jesus. Desiring to worship God perfectly and totally is an aspiration we must whole-heartedly pursue in life, for to be worshipers of God is our life!

We are worshipers of Him who is more alive than we can imagine, and so our daily worship of the Almighty is the desire to imprint deeply and forever the Living Presence of God in every thought and decision of our life. To become aware of the Infinite Presence of God is to fill our mind and work with an awareness of the Lord Jesus Christ. And to do so is to become a constant worshiper of the Lord Jesus Christ.

So, Lord, because You are with me,

may every waking moment of my day

be filled with obedience to Your every wish and desire of my life.

May I do all that You wish me to do.

Grant me your sufficient grace that I desperately need

to live in Your Presence and make every thought and choice

my worship and offering to You.

Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God, have mercy on me a sinner.

“Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! Praise the Lord” Psalm 150:6!

“Jesus answered him, “It is written, “‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and him only shall you serve’” Luke 4:8.
