...follow Christ...

In the spiritual life must we try to orient our daily time of prayer and daily time of silence in the Presence of God to be a continuation of our prayer and awareness of God’s Presence throughout our day. Remembering the presence of God is more than just a bit of time in prayer each day. This habit and life desire is a constant living of our life in the Presence of God, and this is far more than just a cerebral remembering or thinking, but an awareness of the actual Presence of God who is really and truly and fully Present in our life. We can think of Him and talk to Him throughout our day, and what a tender luxury that is!

So today try to remember that God is actually present in your daily life.

Take time throughout your day to think of Him, and ask the Lord to help you in this regard. The Lord will definitely help you think of Him and to be aware of His presence. When that occurs pause and give God your love, your heart, and seek Him and listen to Him.

Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God, have mercy on me a sinner.

From the Bible:

“Seek the Lord” Zephaniah 2:3.

This day watch for the Lord to awaken his presence in your life.

When He does this seek Him! Follow Him!

“So Jesus again said to them, ‘Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep’”

John 10:7.

Remember during your day today to step through the door

when Jesus presents it to you, for this is

the door into His presence. Listen to Him

and follow Him when He shows you the door today.

“Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out, that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that he may send the Christ appointed for you, Jesus, whom heaven must receive until the time for restoring all the things about which God spoke by the mouth of his holy prophets long ago” Acts 3:19-21.

During your day God may try well remind you of His presence

so that you may repent and turn back to Him.

When that happens follow Him!
