...God's Word for you & others...

Tuesday of the First Week of Lent

10 For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there until they have watered the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, 11 so shall My Word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose and succeed in the thing for which I sent it” Isaiah 55:10-11.

Oh my, if ever there is an answer to the question, “Why should I bother reading the Bible and think deeply about it?”, this is the answer.

The Word of God comes from the mouth of God.

The Word of God is fruitful. It matters and grows you and me in the things that matter the most in life.

The purpose of the Word of God will most definitely be fulfilled in each of us.

God’s Word comes to us for a purpose, and God’s purpose for each of us will be accomplished — with His grace.

Simply put, the Word of God comes to each of us — on it way to others.

Eat it, drink it, let the Word be imbedded in your heart, and share it with others. Give God’s Word away to others.

Take this truth to prayer. Open your Bibles today and every day.

Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God have mercy on me a sinner.

From the Bible:

“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work” 2 Timothy 3:16-17.

“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path” Psalm 119:105.

“But Jesus answered, ‘It is written, “‘Men and women shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God’” Matthew 4:4.

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God”

John 1:1.
