...is this what Jesus wants of me?...

We come to God not when we do it right, but when we do it wrong. Life is not about doing great things. Life is about doing the little things out of love for God whose Love finds us and draws us to Himself. Whenever we act in conscious love, this is the way of life, the way of following Christ. Life is painted not with big brush strokes, but with many small brush strokes. Whatever we do in conscious union with and love of God is prayer.

We must pursue living, not in the search for perfection, but in the search for doing the next thing in love of God.

May we ask ourselves, indeed, may we pray, every time we make a decisions: Lord, is this the wise thing to do? Lord, is this what You wish me to do?

Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God, have mercy on me a sinner.

From the Bible:

“Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you” Ephesians 4:32.

“But I say to you who hear, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you. To one who strikes you on the cheek, offer the other also, and from one who takes away your cloak do not withhold your tunic either. Give to everyone who begs from you, and from one who takes away your goods do not demand them back. And as you wish that others would do to you, do so to them” Luke 6:27-31.

“Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant”

1 Corinthians 13:4.

“No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us” 1 John 4:12.
