......knock on the door...

The goal of the spiritual life is to love God through the habitual sense of God’s Presence which the Lord, and the Lord alone, is the One who gives this to everyone who seeks after nothing else in life except the path to becoming completely God’s! That is the best description of life I know. That is the best understanding of why you and I are born. Our human death is the final safari to each of our knocking, and searching, and asking. Our death is the door being fully opened, the searching finally being fulfilled in the finding, and the asking being answered completely. So the purpose and goal of life is to search and ask and knock for the habitual sense of God’s Presence in our life, and this searching and knocking and asking is given to each of us by Jesus Christ.

So let this be your prayer right now. Let this be your constant and daily worship of Almighty God.

Oh Lord, open the door to my knocking

so that I may know Your presence

and love You and only You

all the days and hours of my life.

Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God, have mercy on me a sinner.

From the Bible:

“Seek me and live” Amos 5:4.

“I will bless the Lord at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul makes its boast in the Lord; let the humble hear and be glad. Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together! I sought the Lord, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears. Those who look to him are radiant, and their faces shall never be ashamed.” Psalm 34:1-24.

“He set himself to seek God” 2 Chronicles 2:5.

“If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. Put to death therefore what is earthly in you: sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry” Colossians 3:1-25.

“Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water’” John 7:38.

“Seek the Lord your God and you will find Him, if you search after Him with all your heart and with all your soul” Deuteronomy 4:29.
