54 Jesus also said to the multitudes, “When you see a cloud rising in the west, you say at once, ‘A shower is coming’; and so it happens. 55 And when you see the south wind blowing, you say, ‘There will be scorching heat’; and it happens. 56 You hypocrites! You know how to interpret the appearance of earth and sky; but why do you not know how to interpret the present time” Luke 12:54-56?
My guess is that you would agree that our country and our world is experiencing episodic change.
We are witnessing and participating in two wars that are killing tens of thousands of innocent people.
Our world leaders are losing grip on peace and with working together for the common good of all.
The threat of nuclear war is growing.
We are witnessing world leaders struggling to bring their countries and our world together for the common good and for peaceful co-existence.
Our own leaders in Washington are so divided by the two parties that they even created two different lunch rooms in the capitol so that they could eat separately from one another. They can’t even have a hotdog together anymore.
Fires, floods, burning hot temperatures, storm and tornados and earthquakes are destroying and killing so many neighborhoods, cities, and families. We cannot even agree on how to live together without destroying our environment.
Take some time and pray. How do you look at the changes in our world?
