...the beauty of God in our lives...

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well” Psalm 139: 14.

We all need to step out from our daily responsibilities to see the beauty and goodness of God in our lives.   We can get so caught up in our own perspective that we forget what God gives us every day.   We are created in the image of God, and God doesn’t make junk!   We are surrounded by the most beautiful people in the world — all of us.   And we are all very different — completely unique and beautiful.   Imagine how God sees us.  His creation — done completely out of love.   Love so great and deep that He gave His life for us all.  God sees us as His masterpiece, so pause for a moment and consider how we should look at one other — and humbly give thanks!   Take time today and consider the incredible beauty that makes up our life and world — and focus on that for awhile.  I guarantee it will change your mind about how you look at others.

Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God, have mercy on me a sinner.

Oh Lord, too often I have looked at the splinter in other people’s eyes while forgetting that there is a huge log hanging out of my own eye.   So I come and humbly thank You for the beauty and goodness You have given every day to me.   You have surrounded me with the most beautiful.  I thank You that we are no alike at all - but uniquely different creations.   You are unbelievable, Lord, and so I bow down in humble gratitude to you.   And I lift up this humble prayer of gratitude to You, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
