“34 When they had crossed over, they came to land at Gennesaret. 35 After the people of that place recognized him, they sent word to that whole surrounding region, and people brought all who were sick to him 36 and begged him that they might touch even the fringe of his cloak, and all who touched it were healed” Matthew 14:34-36.
If you are struggling, if you are struggling with anything, if you are struggling with anything at all — big or small — before you do anything else, reach out and touch Jesus. To touch Jesus, obviously, is a metaphor. To touch Jesus I mean that you turn to Him before you do anything else. Sit in His presence, turn off your cell phone, and sit in silence, luxuriating in His presence. For the Lord is closer to us than we can ever imagine. Take time and just BE with Him. Take you mind, your thoughts off whatever is bothering you, with whatever is beyond your reach to resolve, and just sit in silence in His presence.
I pray that all of us may let Jesus be Jesus.
I pray that we may all just touch Him!
