...who do you say is Jesus Christ?...

Jesus once asked Peter a question that Jesus asks you and me every day of our lives: “But what about you? Who do you say that I am” Mark 8:29?

This question I must ask and answer ever day of my life. I cannot take a break from Jesus Christ some days of the week, walk away from Him in sin, and then return when I wish.

Every day may I begin the day in prayer and reflection so that I may answer the question as Peter answered the question: “You are the Christ” Mark 8:29.

Take time today in prayer and ask yourself before God, Who do I say that Christ is to me? Is Jesus truly my Lord? Do I treat Him as my Savior? Open yourself up to the presence of Jesus Christ and listen to Him and follow Him! Love Him. Desire to follow Him all the days of your life!

Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God, have mercy on me a sinner.
